The Kitchen Linens Book: Using Sharing, and Cherishing the Fabrics of Our Daily Lives by Ellyn Anne Geisel. Andrews, McMeel Publishing, LLC. 2009. (This guide gives great historical information, care and cleaning tips, and a free reproduction transfer.)
Sewing Palette  Find a great history of transfer embroidery designs at the Sewing Palette.

Antique Pattern Library This site offers free access to needlework pattern books that are now in public domain.  Books can be searched by needlework technique, date, title, and so on.

Vintage Tablecloth Lovers Club  This club ($25.00 yearly fee) has a great and growing database of about 700 tagged and identified tablecloths. 

Retro CleanThis easy-to-use cleaning powder has miraculously saved several purchased linens from becoming cutter cloth.  It readily removes the yellowing many vintage linens have picked up over the years.  I highly recommend it.
